I bought a used car that reeked of stale cigarette smoke. it was so bad I considered not buying the car. The short story is that I bought the Odor Bomb, set it off, after protecting the car with newspapers, and the bomb got rid of the horrible smell. I set the bomb in a shallow cardboard box (beer carton type), put newspaper loosely around the car to protect the dash board and windows then set the thing off. I left the car closed up for several hours, according to instructions. There was almost no clean up, maybe 5 minutes. The smell was gone but what remained was a soapy smell. It is not unpleasant. The soap smell has dissipated over time (one month). I think it will be gone soon. I would buy this product again.
