My husband, the engineer, was really excited about trying this product. All the other sun shades we've had have the little suction cups that either don't stay on or mark up the windows, are generally a pain to deal with, and in the end often don't end up blocking the sun! These, on the other hand, look a lot sleeker and so of course, he wanted to try them. Here's my breakdown of the product after using them in two different vehicles for a week:

PROS: 1) They actually block the sun, 2) they stick really well to the windows and don't move around, 3) they don't fall in your kids faces/get pulled at because they stay flush to the window, 4) they are easy to take on and off so you can re-position them easily, 5) they are extremely portable and easy to stow (fold up small) if you want to take them down, 6) they are large so they block the sunlight over your/your kids whole face.

CONS: 1) As stated, they are quite large so the "fits more vehicles" may be slightly mis-leading (depending on whether you intend to use it in the front seats or in the back seats). In my large SUV it works great (because we have a large window, it's nice to have large coverage in the back) but if you drive a smaller 4-door vehicle and want to use them in the back seat it might not work. I can still jam it in my 4-door VW jetta but because it doesn't fit right it does not stick to the window and so it falls out when I open the door.

Bottom line: I originally got these for my kids because of the sun constantly being in their eyes in the back seat (even though our windows are tinted) but I am actually planning on getting another set to have in the front seat. Particularly for long car rides, and because they are so easy to tuck away, it is a great product to have on hand!
