I had a weird issue - I was test driving cars, and the one that I fell in love with had a very sporty driver's seat, which cut off leg circulation. I know, strange - but after a google search, I found that it happens a lot with newer vehicles.. they're making the seats more sporty and angled I guess. Anyway, I found comments online that suggested, with the angle of the seat, you would need a wedge-shaped cusion to lift your body up, so that you were able to sit at more of a 90 degree angle in the seat, which allows for better blood flow to the legs and feet. (Sorry if this is confusing, just want to put it all out there in case someone else has the same issue and is looking for a cushion just like I was!)
It was just too wide for my car seat, and the firmness actually raised me up higher than I anticipated, so it didn't work for my needs. This cushion is definitely firm, so I have no doubt it would hold up well. If I needed it for an office chair or something, I would've kept it. Hope this helps!
