This is a replacement remote for my 2003 Nissan Maxima. My old remote case is broken up and I needed I new one. This replacement is the plastic shell only which works good for me (no remote reprogramming needed). It appears to be very high quality piece. This thing looks like it came from Nissan itself. Time will tell if it holds up. I am very happy with this purchase so far. I got it very quickly also. My only negatives are: there is a metal bracket on the back case (inside) that you have to transfer to the new one. Not the end of the world, but you need to be careful transferring it. It is fragile and pinned in. I have seen pictures of other remotes for sale with this already on. Also the buttons feel a little numb, but this might be because it is new and needs to be broken in.
