I have read other reviews of a similar item that were mixed. Many said that is was hard to understand the directions, hard to DIY. I did not find this the case when I received mine. I quickly read the directions, and installed in under 10 minutes.

There is one thing missing from the directions however, that is to ensure that the other end of the spring needs to go into the pre-drilled holes in the factory console prior to assembly. But that was common sense if you look at the console prior to assembly.
