Works well for both grooving and siping. What else can I say? Does what it's supposed to do. Be careful when allowing it to heat up. Keep the tip up, it gets VERY hot and could melt the handle if not properly placed. Order extra blades - #4. One 35x12.50x15 used 3 blades to groove and sipe the center treads. Very comfortable to use. Great way to add wet/snow traction.
