mAuto 3054 Angry Eyes Car Sun Shade, Reversible in Silver 27.6" x 51.2" Review

I just bought a new beautiful black 2012 Hyundai Azera and I wanted sunshade that will help catch people's attention and of course to protect the interior. This sunshade WILL catch people's attention AND give them smile. Well, at least the kids and the ones with an inner kid within. As with any other sunshade it will reduce the amount of direct light.

I'll explain the drawbacks I've found, but keep in mind I do love this sunshade's style.

DRAWBACKS

Elastic Straps (UPDATE). When you fold the sunshade up, there are two elastic straps you can use to hold the sunshade closed. One of it snapped on the third day of use. I slide the sunshade between the driver door and seat to store it. You would imagine it doesn't matter since I have an area that holds it closed and in place, but it does. Having it closed makes it easier to slide in and out because you won't have the sunshade expanding out as you try to store it. I sew the strap back.

Suction Cups (UPDATE). I said you can get the suction cups that comes with it to work if you do it a certain way, but I take it back. The suction cups provided suck! The whole thing is made of a flimsy rubber, which causes a lot of problems. The hooks can NOT hold the sunshade because it bend to easily causing the sunshade to slip off because of it's weight. The suction cups is flipping backwards which causes it to be useless. Fortunately there's a solution! Go to Target and buy Project Basic "8-pk Medium Suction Hooks." The ends literally fits PERFECTLY in the holes of the sunshade, it has a really strong grip on the glass, and you'll get six (6) spare suctions cups.

Hot, Hot, HOT! If sun stares down this sunshade long enough the heat will build up and hurts when you grab it. My hands have decent tolerance to heat since I play guitar and have built some extra layer of skin on my fingers. I wash my hands with warm/hot water that is some would consider hot. Built up heat in the sunshade still hurts me. I guess it sometimes hurts to look good...when it's hot.

The product lost a star because of the snapped strap and flimsy suction cups provided.
