My old remote to my 05 Tahoe Z71 had shorted out thanks to a friend's son who slobbered all over it. The dealership wanted to charge me $80 for a new remote and "special programming". Luckily I'm not part of the 90% who fall for service dealer bull crap. I ordered this for a fair price, it came with customized instructions specifically for the year span and model of my truck. Took me literally less than a minute and a half to program and it's very responsive just like a new remote should be. I can lock and set the alarm on my truck from inside my house with no problem unless I'm in the back yard. Trust me people, this is the company you want to order your remotes from. I'm ordering another one once I get another truck key made for the wife.
