My wife and I have recently taken up geocaching as a hobby, and we're having a great time finding geocaches in our area. The next step was to plant some trackable Travel Bugs, so I ordered a set of four. These are nicely made, sturdy little tags with stamped-in unique tracking codes. The size of each TB is 2.1" x 1.2" x 0.04", so they'll fit in most geocaches larger than a nano/micro. One very nice feature is that each bug has a duplicate metal tag with the identical tracking number to keep for your records. Each Travel Bug comes with instructions and its own activation code for registering the bug.

Tomorrow I'm sending one of my plush little Angry Birds out on its journey with one of the Travel Bugs attached. Please, if you find it, keep it away from evil egg-stealing pigs, or it will go ballistic on you.
