We got this to go with a CURT Trailer Hitch #13402 for a 2002 Tahoe. First, great quality. Second...where do you mount it? When you mount the hitch on the Tahoe you have two choices for the connector, over the hitch between it and the body, or under the hitch. In either case the bracket that holds the socket doesn't fit. I was going to mount it to the body so the socket was just above the hitch. No room. So either let the socket hang down between the hitch and body (LAME) or drill two holes in the bottom of the hitch and screw the bracket to the underside of the hitch. I would rather not do this because the socket will hang down below the hitch but it looks like its the only way short of some major mods to the bracket.

Update. Drilling into the hitch to mount the socket...unbelievablly hard steel. Forget self-tapping screws. Drill, tap by hand, lock tight the screws in. Do it before you mount the hitch.
