The fragrance is not overpowering, as long as the strength selector is kept towards the lower end. They hold securely and are small and unobtrusive. I keep one over the rear seat vent in my coupe which means no one ever really sees it. The only improvement I would like to see is more detentes in the fragrance adjustment dial. I find that I prefer it on about "1.5", halfway between the lowest and next lowest settings, but the adjuster won't stay there unfortunately.
